The Real Cause Of Your Digestive Symptoms...
The answers to your miserable symptoms. Also... due to the success of my last free drop-in clinic, sign up for the next one now!
Digestive symptoms can vary from constipation and diarrhoea, or a combination of both; bloating, flatulence, reflux and abdominal discomfort. If you are experiencing any of these symptoms it could be a sign that something isn’t quite right in your gut.
A myriad of other symptoms connected to digestive health
The gut is often referred to as the second brain due to the bidirectional communication between the brain and the digestive system. There are many psychological symptoms you might be experiencing that are connected to digestive health and can be related to an unhealthy gut. Fatigue, brain fog, low mood and anxiety are all associated with an imbalance in your gut bacteria. Cravings, headaches, allergies, skin problems like eczema and difficulty losing weight can also signs of problems with digestion.
If you are experiencing any digestive symptoms, firstly you must speak to your GP in case they’re a sign of a health condition. However, you might have already spoken with your GP, had a few tests, and are still struggling with unresolved symptoms. You may have also tried changing your diet but this hasn’t made any difference either. This is where I can help you. I specialise in getting to the root cause of your unresolved symptoms, and I do this with the help of functional testing.
How can functional testing give me the answers I’ve been searching for?
As a Registered Nutritional Therapy Practitioner, I have access to tests that aren’t available on the NHS. For unresolved digestive issues, I recommend a comprehensive stool test. This stool test is a comprehensive assessment of complete gut health, assessing the root cause of the majority GI complaints.
A comprehensive stool test provides information on inflammation, and how well you digest and absorb your food. The test can also uncover imbalances in yeast, parasites, and healthy and unhealthy bacteria in your gut microbiome. Identifying these imbalances allows me to design a personalised nutrition plan to help improve your symptoms. So you can enjoy eating again!
If you are curious to know more about how stool testing can help you get the answers to your unresolved digestive symptoms, book a free 20-minute chat with me. During our call I will listen to your health concerns and how I can help you feel better.
